The Carroll Reed House is located about a mile from the base of Cranmore and a mile from North Conway Center. This house has enormous amounts of character and charm, from the built in ski lockers, boot warmer closet, fresh herb solarium with a koi pond to the outside granite patio, this house is a one of kind!!! The history of this home alone sets itself apart from others.
Historically, this is the home of Ski Pioneer Carroll Reed. In the 1937 Carroll Reed introduced the first Ski School to the White Mountain region named Eastern Slope Ski School. This home has amazing outdoors space. The large backyard allows activities such as volleyball, while still having enough room for the kids to also run around and play. The granite patio located under a cedar tree allows for just enough shade, while being accessible to the living room and kitchen.  Also located on the patio is outside seating, grill, and fire pit. (during the warmer months).
